Another WordPress Widget I wrote and use is “Future Post”. If gives you a configurable number of future posts you want to show, displaying the title.
You can also control the display of “In X days” or “In X hours”, which I call the heads-up display. It defaults to three days, but you can choose your days or set or to zero to not show at all.
You could simply activate the plug in and drag it to a side bar and not change any settings to use the defaults.
I don’t have a need for it now, but I could add the display of the authors name and maybe even a short except. I suppose the possibilities are endless!
